Te Motu Vineyard and Toto Restaurant were awarded Winery and Restaurant of the year at the North Shore Hospice Vintner’s 2013 Brunch. Te Motu’s Cabernet Sauvignon was matched with Toto’s house made Duck Tortellini with mushroom ragu and truffle. Twelve of Auckland’s finest restaurants matched their cuisine with twelve of New Zealand’s top winemakers.
“The standard of food and wine was exceptional this year. Creative new dishes matched with stunning wines surpassed the many delights of the previous 16 years of this event. This feast represents the very best that our New Zealand paradise has to offer and the bonus is that $160,000 was raised for a great cause. The good people at Hospice North Shore dedicate themselves to easing physical and emotional pain of those who are approaching the end of their time with us.” said Master of Ceremonies Vic Williams.
