The inaugural Waiheke Vintage Festival is almost here -starting on Saturday March 29th through to Sunday April 6th 2014.
There are winemaking and wine tasting events that are not on offer at any other time of the year. You can be involved in picking grapes, stomping them and making your own wine at Passage Rock wines. There are food and wine matching events including a lunch guided by Sam Harrop, Master of Wine at Te Motu vineyard. There are music events happening throughout the week including the Matariki string quartet at Casita Miro and a degustation dinner celebrating Pavarotti in the cellar at Poderi Crisci.
