18 Waiheke Island vineyards will be coming together for the annual Waiheke Island of Wine Expo on Monday October 12th at the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour. The doors will open from 4.00pm until 6.30pm and visitors will have the exclusive chance to sample the latest wine releases. The winemakers themselves will be present, giving guests an exciting and rare opportunity to talk to them direct about the vineyard’s approach to winemaking.
There are two new vineyards exhibiting for the firsttime this year; Awaroa and Tantalus vineyards.
There will be more than 90 wines being exhibited by the following Waiheke Island vineyards; Awaroa, Batch, Cable Bay, Frenchmans Hill Estate, Goldie Wines, The Hay Paddock, Jurassic Ridge, Man ’O War, Mudbrick, Obsidan, Passage Rock, Peacock Sky, Poderi Crisci, SOHO, Tantalus, Te Motu, Te Whau & Woodside Hill.
