Waiheke Distilling Co. Launches 'Winter Collective' – A First-of-Its-Kind Artisan Collaboration Celebrating Island Producers

Waiheke Distilling Co. is proud to announce the launch of Waiheke Winter Collective, an unprecedented collaboration bringing together some of the island’s most boutique producers under one roof. Running from June 4th through September 17th, this exclusive partnership showcases the island's exceptional artisan beverage scene in an immersive tasting experience.
The Winter Collective unites four artisan wineries, alongside Waiheke Distilling Co.'s award-winning craft gin and botanical vodka.

The collaboration also features events and guest appearances from acclaimed local artisan producers, including artisan tea makers and jewellery designers, Timmy Smith.

The Experience
Housed in Waiheke Distilling Co.'s atmospheric garden bar and newly opened historic woolshed, The Winter Collective offers visitors a comprehensive journey through the island's premium beverage landscape.
The experience includes:
- Guided Tasting Flights: Expertly curated selections showcasing each producer's signature offerings
- Premium Tasting Boards: Gin, vodka, and wine tastings paired with locally sourced small bites.
- Intimate Distillery Tours: Behind-the-scenes access to Waiheke Distilling Co.'s craft production process
- Artisan Gifts: Take home premium Waiheke gin, vodka, wine, olive oil, sparkling teas, perfect gifts for friends and family.
- Cellar Door Exclusives: Limited releases and producer-only selections available for purchase
- By-the-Glass Service: Premium wines and spirits available for individual tasting
- The venue operates Wednesday through Sunday, 11am-5pm, providing an accessible yet intimate setting for both casual visitors and serious enthusiasts.
Community Launch Event
The local community is invited to celebrate the launch of Waiheke Winter Collective at an exclusive preview event on Sunday, June 15th from 3-5pm. This special gathering will feature tastings from all participating producers, meet-and-greet opportunities with the artisans, the first glimpse of seasonal collaborations and special offers on cellar door sales.

From 17 September the Waiheke Distilling Co. cocktail bar and pizzeria will re-open.
