Waiheke vineyards captured more poignantly than the rose coloured
winery overlooking the olive grove and north facing vineyard at
Stonyridge.
Stonyridge are dedicated to producing the finest
Cabernet blend wine in the world (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet
Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot). This involves meticulous organic
viticulture and traditional winemaking. Stonyridge Larose 2006 has outclassed the world’s best-known and respected wines in a blind tasting of 387 cabernet sauvignon blends held by Australia’s largest wine magazine Winestate in May 2011. This was published in the July edition and the below results speak for themselves:
